What to Expect on Your First Visit
A calm, judgment-free first visit where you’re heard, supported, and guided toward clear next steps.

During the visit, we will gently review your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and goals at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to listen, answer your questions, and help you feel understood. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time, and your experiences will always be respected.
If treatment options such as medication management are appropriate, we will discuss them together in clear, simple terms so you feel informed and confident in your choices. By the end of the visit, we will outline next steps and a plan that feels realistic and supportive. My goal is for you to leave feeling reassured, heard, and hopeful about your path forward.
Starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, especially if this is your first time meeting with a provider. Please know that your first visit is designed to be a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free experience. There is no pressure to share anything before you are ready.
